The end of June is the season for ordinations. Chris and Angela Howarth have been ordained priests and I went to the service yesterday at Coventry Cathedral. Theirs is a wonderful story (Helen can you do one of your interviews please?!) of how once retired they felt called to Canley, an urban priority area, and have ended up leading the church there, St Stephens and completely turning it around. They have done a few modules with us and will be doing a few more next year.

Ruth Kidd was ordained deacon in Guildford dicoese. She is training on the diocesan course but has done ReSource weekends with us as an independent study module on the way. We were not set up for training when she started! It reminds me that if any of you are training elsewhere you could easily persuade your course to let you do ReSource as Ruth has done as part of your training – worth a try at least?!
