Thank you everyone who came and made this year’s pioneer conversations day – Future Present – such a good day. We hope to follow it up by publishing the presentations in some format – maybe a book. Watch this space.
It’s a dramatic title but it is the ‘end’ as in the goal of theology really! Anyway I have a chapter in the end of theology: shaping theology for the sake of mission. The chapter was originally presented at a conference
There’s a new role 2 days a week for a pioneer hub co-ordinator in the central south region (of which Oxford is a part). This builds on the 5 years Andy did in that role to develop pioneer ministry further.
Yesterday there was a celebration at Lambeth palace of 10 years of ordained pioneer ministry. Several CMS ordained pioneers were there. It was encouraging to hear (via twitter) that Archbishop Justin Welby has said Pioneers are a gift to the
